Simply put, in my experience and knowledge – cable TV is prohibitively expensive. I know someone who has cable TV, and her TV bill costs more than her rent. In my opinion, your rent should be the most expensive bill.
What I Do
I have a 32″ Roku enabled TV. I have a TabloTV box which records any television programs I want. I can record up to 4 channels at one time. I have gone overboard with my television services, but I am also willing to pay the costs of such resources. Still, I am paying less than what my friend pays for her cable TV service. I have Sling (Blue Package), Netflix, and HBO/Disney+ bundle. I don’t watch that much TV, but when the time comes to watch what I want, it is available to me. If I do watch TV, it is usually in the evenings depending on how I feel.
