Email

I would recommend your own domain, and with your own domain, you should have at least one email? address. In example, my personal address is frank@fsp.ws. Simple, and easy to type, and that is the important thing. There are two ways to manage your email, and I will assume that you would be using an email client for all of your email. Having an email client will give you more control over how you manage your email. If you are limited in storage capacity, you might want to have 2 email accounts in your mail client. The first one will be the email account from your hosting account. You would receive your email, and send through this account. You would however use your other email account to store your email. I personally use my hosting company to send mail from frank@fsp.ws, and incoming email goes to frank@fsp.ws. However, I have a Gmail account where I can store my collected mail after replying to them to the Gmail account. This allows me to use my Gmail account for storage, and use my fsp.ws address for mail sending and receiving. If you are limited in space, I would recommend this solution.

The way IMAP? works is all of your email stays on the server. This is good and bad. If you had to reset your computer, you don’t lose your email messages. However, it does take space, and this is why I would recommend saving your email in Gmail if you have a limited storage account. Your hosting company likely supports IMAP for email, and Gmail also does, however they call folders labels because why not?! Since both accounts are IMAP, it is a simple matter of dragging and dropping into the appropriate folders.
